Think of the H.O. SS as the big brother of the Camaro SS.  Granted, it's a really mean big brother; one that started life as a Camaro SS with an already huge 6.2 liter V8.

Hendrick Performance went to extremes to ensure that no other camaro on the road would top this one of a kind mean racing machine.  A Hendrick Performance "Air Induction" system, Hendrick Performance computer program, underdriven engine accessory drive pulleys and a stainless steel, high performance exhaust system work in harmony to create 465 horsepower.  As a bonus, teh engine creates its own soundtrack that lets everyone know they're playing around with one mean hombre.

When the road gets twisty, the H.O. SS has its own version of the "Hugger" suspension system, designed specifically for the weight and power of the all-aluminum 6.2 Liter V8.  Forged, three-piece alloy wheels measuring 20x8.5 inches in front and 20x10 inches in the rear mound the 255 and 275 all-season performance tires that come standard as part of the H.O. SS package.

Also included is hte optional Hendrick Performance Carbon Fiber bodywork package and it becomes readily apparent why the H.O. SS package is one mean racing machine unlike any camaro on the road!
