Hendrick Chevrolet Cadillac will be at Jefferson Pageland Dragway Saturday, June 7th from 4pm to 8pm. We will have door prizes and display some of our hottest new vehicles. Jefferson Pageland Dragway will also be hosting the nostalgic drag racing series the "Carolina Gassers" featuring vintage 1964 and older drag cars!

Hybrid Tahoes are here!

We are pleased to announce that the 2008 Chevy Tahoe Hybrid, the Green Car of the Year, has arrived at Hendrick Chevrolet Cadillac!

The Chevrolet Tahoe is America's first full-size hybrid and is available in two or four-wheel drive. I was unsure about the Tahoe Hybrid until I took it for a test drive. It provides the power and capability you expect from a utility vehicle while delivering efficiency I could have never imagined. It's hybrid propulsion system is designed to operate in three ways: engine power, electric power, or any combination of the two. When driving demands more power, the Tahoe's Vortec V8 kicks in seamlessly. When you need to conserve, two small lightweight 60 kw motors deliver all the power you need.

The feature that sold me on the Hybrid Tahoe is that when you pair the two-mode technology with our Active Fuel Management system, the Tahoe Hybrid offers up to 50% better fuel economy over the non-hybrid Tahoe.

Food Lion Speed Street celebrates its 14th year this week! They transform the streets of Uptown Charlotte into a showcase of motor sports with non-stop entertainment on three stages, appearances by top Sprint Cup Drivers, dynamic exhibits for all ages and an amazing assembly of NASCAR show cars and simulators.

JDRF 2008 Walk To Cure Diabetes

Thanks to Hendrick Chevrolet Cadillac for their generous support of the 2008 JDRF Walk To Cure Diabetes at Carowinds on April 19th.

Over 6,000 walkers participated in the Charlotte Walk; it is one of the top 5 in the nation! Melissa McCullough, Assistant CDC /Internet Manager at City Chevrolet and Courtnay Mayhew, Internet Manager at Hendrick Chevrolet Cadillac, participated to support Courtnay's son, Tyler. He was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes at the age of 5 and continues to struggle with this devastating disease.

Thanks to the support of the many people who walked, the support of Hendrick Chevrolet Cadillac and City Chevrolet, hopefully a cure will be found soon!

Nascar Sprint All-Star Race!
